Levi and Harper have an interesting history...they were childhood friends who were inseparable until they went to different schools and lost contact. Recently, they ran into each other again and hooked up...a night neither of them can forget but naturally there are issues.

We've met Levi and Harper a little in the first book by Robin Bielman,

We've met Levi and Harper a little in the first book by Robin Bielman,

, and I was really happy to get their story. Harper really needed someone like Levi and I felt the reverse was true as well. But I just loved how much Levi went after Harper and how much he was there for her.

So remember those issues? Well, Harper is an avid swimmer and she was

good until a major trauma upset her life. It took her a bit to come back to the water but now she's trying to make things right.

Levi's had his own issues as well but his is with his ex girlfriend. I didn't really feel his hesitation with Harper, maybe because it just felt right.

Levi and Harper are brought together often since they are friends with Mateo and Teague (from the first book) but also because of the work they both are doing. I liked that they bonded over a shared interest and how it helped them to get to know each other again.

There's some drama with both their issues although I felt a bit more for Harper. I couldn't imagine going through that so it's easy to feel that anguish.

Unfortunately, she has put up huge walls and while Levi does pretty good getting through to her, when things get tough, those walls go right back up.

Thankfully, Harper finally sees the light (a lot of thanks goes to Teague) and makes her move almost at the last moment.

It was cute how things wrapped up and I get a feeling we will be reading more about them. After all, we do need an Elliot and Madison story! *fingers crossed*

    Both featured heavily in

in that they were close friends of the leads, so I knew from what we learned about them in the telling of that story that sparks were going to fly, especially as Levi was supposed to be a one night stand that Harper never saw again, having him constantly in her life thereafter makes things all sorts of complicated for her.

But rather than back off and take offense at her snark, rudeness and general disinterest he thrives on it, and his efforts to get her to turn her frown upside down when he was around were pretty endearing, especially as he pretty much lets every rebuff roll right off his back, to only then come right back again for more.

As you would expect things gradually morph into more around the building of a solid friendship, but it’s also clear both of them are dealing with a few personal demons as well, and as the connection between them deepens the revelations also start to show that both of them are pretty good at keeping their real feelings and emotions about things very close to their hearts.

There is a little bit of secondary drama in this one that I found to be a bit erroneous to be honest, Levi and Harper, already had enough of their own issues and commitment phobias to work through without the addition of a rather pointless ex popping up, but other than that I enjoyed the banter, the bluster, the chemistry and emotional connection between the two of them, and the story the author gave them.

The rest of the characters that you got to know in the first book are very relevant in this one too so everything moved along quite fluidly because of it too.

A great addition to the series, I look forward to seeing where Robin takes it next.

Lips Close to Mine by Robin Bielman is a frenemies to lovers story and I loved it!

The storyline is sweet, emotional and well written. It was easy to follow and the drama was just enough to keep me turning the pages late into the night.

I loved watching Levi and Harper's relationship unfold. They made me laugh, they made me swoon and they touched my heart with their stories. Both Levi and Harper are dealing with past hurts, one with a psycho ex and one with the loss of her first love.

Levi and Harper were wonderful together, I loved how they found comfort, trust and security by opening themselves to love and following their hearts.

Lips Close to Mine is a beautiful love story and a great addition to the Wherever You Go Series.

Each book can be read as a standalone and I highly recommend them.

I'm hoping author Robin Bielman gives us Elliot's book next, that sexy man needs to find his own HEA ;)

There aren’t many authors who I’ll literally drop everything for, but Robin Bielman is one of them. I always look forward to her releases hugely and

is her at her best, capturing all I love in a romance: strong chemistry, emotion, the perfect blend of humour, angst and sexy-time, unforgettable characters and a man who will steal your heart.

    If you haven’t read

    , fear not as

can easily be read as a stand-alone. Harper and Levi were fairly prominent though as secondary characters and I had an inkling their story wouldn’t be a bed of roses. I went into this already having a bit of a soft spot for Levi and when he and Harper find themselves working together, he really shows us what he’s made of: he wears his heart on his sleeve and is all for a repeat performance of their one night together...all he has to do is convince her that they could be more.

Within a couple of chapters, Levi and Harper owned me. Robin has taken all I love from the childhood friends, friends-with-benefits and fauxmance tropes, and bundled them up together to create a sexy, engaging, heartfelt and emotional journey for two characters whose hearts have been left bruised, battered and guarded over recent years although not by each other. And that’s what made them so special, because their pain is real and relatable, as are their fears, and whilst it’s shaped them, they haven’t let it beat them.

This could have so easily been a heavier read but with the angst aspect pitched perfectly and counterbalanced with fun and humour, along with no shortage of hot and sexy shenanigans, it was instead an effortless read and one I stayed up into the wee hours to finish. I adored Levi and Harper—the dual POV really gives you the opportunity to get to know them both intimately—it was lovely to catch up with Teague and Mateo and is without a shadow of a doubt one of my favourites Robin has written. And, being 99.9% certain I know who the next book in the series will belong to, I can’t wait to see what treats their story will hold.

    DNF it 80%.

I liked the blurb and was hoping for something light with some great banter but this book is angstier than I thought. It's a standalone, but there are times it feels like it isn't because there are some things you won't get unless you read the first book. And if you're like me and you haven't read the first book in this standalone series, you're going to get confused at times, too. The affair thing they had was barely discussed. And if you're like me and you haven't read the first book in this standalone series, you're going to get confused at times, too. The affair thing they had was barely discussed. The beginning of the story felt like watching a show on the fourth or fifth episode, and I couldn't keep up and wasn't interested enough to want to know.

I couldn't connect with the characters and just couldn't see the attraction beyond lust and the affection of people who knew each other when they were kids.

I'm 100% sure others will like this. It's just another 'it's me, it's not you' situation.

Oh, I love it when a guy can just sweet talk, hang around, and totally immerse themselves into a girl's life. The past was supposed to stay in the past but who can deny a steamy man like Levi?

    Part of a stand-alone series,

was book 1 and introduces us to the 4 guys that lived together. Sweet and sexy, that book was so fun to read

    Part of a stand-alone series,

was book 1 and introduces us to the 4 guys that lived together. Sweet and sexy, that book was so fun to read! I was happy to get a glimpse of some of the guys in this story too. This is Levi's story.

Loaded with the ups and downs of dating and friends, along with the sleeping with a past friend but he/she cannot know I adore him/her scenes, the story gives us a taste of romance that is loaded with a bit of frenzy, family hysteria, passion, and also humor as only Robin Bielman can serve up. So entertaining and yet realistic too. I wanted more from the ending tho! boo-hiss

The author is so good at crafting a swoony love story loaded with hot ass guys you want to date along with girlfriends and wives you want to befriend. I will never tire of her stories!
