The Girl from the Other Side: Siúil, a Rún Vol. 3

In a world split between the Inside and the Outside, those living in both realms are told never to cross over to the other side, lest they be cursed. A young girl named Shiva lives on the other side, in a vacant village with a demonic guardian known only as “Teacher.” Although the two are forbidden to touch, they seem to share a bond that transcends their disparate appeara...

Just as good as the two previous volumes. I read the first in English and then read this and the second as Japanese ebooks since I couldn't wait to find out what happened next.

The third volume is where the plot really picks up and where we learn a bit more about Shiva's past and the inside's society. But with every new revelation, more questions emerge. The story ends with a cliffhanger like the last two books.

There's a lot more action in this volume but I found myself wishing Shiva was back in the woods quietly living her life with her Teacher just a little bit. Questions keep arising and it seems they'll soon be answered.

    This is a beautiful series.

The story becomes far more dark, and I am totally into it. Such a shame how short these feel, can't wait for the next one.

    It's gonna be okay, Shiva!

This story is so sweet and dark <3

    OMG THAT CLIFFHANGER!

    I NEED MORE ASAP

The mystery deepens on Shiva’s origins. Why is she there? Where did she come from? Is the stranger really evil?

i LOVE the little teaser for volume four on the last page. it's almost like a vintage movie poster or something, or like a sci-fi movie teaser from the 50's and i'm so excited over it!

this is the first manga i've read in YEARS and it's got me HOOKED. again, so bummed i have to wait months until volume 4:( but oh well it will give me something to look forward to.

this volume was sad and bitterswe

this volume was sad and bittersweet in a lot of ways, and i really would just like some answers as to who shiva is and where she came from, is her aunt really her aunt?, who is teacher and is he really good like i think he is?, and just how this whole curse thing came to be (because i don't believe that was explained in detail yet?). idk. i just want more okay.

my one complaint, and i don't know if other people feel this way too or maybe i'm just not used to reading manga but, sometimes i have a hard time telling who is doing the talking because the little dialogue bubbles are not always clear about that...

not a bit deal though, it just forces me to spend a little extra time on certain pages, trying to make sure that the character i think said it actually said it lol

the last couple pages of this one i was like wait is shiva's aunt talking or is teacher?

Good grief, the art. Charming story continues to be charming.
